RMDEA Visits Our Lady of Nazareth Primary School

On February 26, 2010, the Regional Managing Director (East Africa), Mr Adam Miller, CSR Ambassador Kaela Miller, and members of the G4S Corporate Social Responsibility Committee participated in a prizegiving ceremony at Our Lady of Nazareth Primary School located in Mukuru Kwa Njenga slums in Nairobi.

G4S had previously supported the school through the provision of materials and equipment for the pre-school grounds now named the ‘Nick Buckles Playground’ following an earlier visit by the Group CEO.

A few days earlier, the G4S team had visited the school where Mr Freddie Mbaka repaired their generator. The generator powers about 50 computers in the school. Also in attendance were members of the CSR team Enock Mboya (Courier), John Okwara (Courier), Annastasia Wavinya (Marketing), Ms Betty Yegon (Assistant Brand Manager), Peter Karanja and Moses Ngige (both from Administration), and a team from Gina Din Corporate Communications.
