G4S employees' trust

The welfare of our employees is of paramount importance to us, and all our businesses aim to ensure that employees are supported during difficult times.

At the discretion of the fund’s trustees, the G4S Employees’ Trust helps to provide such support, giving urgent financial and practical assistance to many current and former employees.\

In Kenya, the G4S Education Trust Fund was established on March 5, 1999. It was established to assist employees and/or their families with School fees.

This fund was also established as a symbol of the parent company - UK Office’s long-term commitment to investment in Kenya with a project of real and lasting social value.

UK contributed the initial Ksh.6 Million and Kenya Ksh.4 Million to come up with the Ksh.10 million capital set aside for the fund.

The Trust has made a difference in many instances. They including providing counselling and financial assistance to more than 60 employees who were left homeless as a result of the post election viloence in 2007.
